Terena started sailing in 2011 and trained as a bowman since then. She has competed in many keelboat classes and events, including regular podium finishes at the Singapore Straits Regatta, Top of the Gulf Regatta, J24 National Champs, and RSYC Regatta. She was also a 5th place finisher at the World University Match Race Championships.
